Talent Choice, in partnership with Sound Insurance, is exclusively recruiting for the newly created position of Marketing Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional with approximately
5 years' experience who is ready to take the next step in their career and assume ownership of a marketing function.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and delivering Sound Insurance's marketing strategy, with significant autonomy to shape the function, introduce new ideas and make a visible impact across the business.
This is a hands-on, standalone position and would particularly suit someone who has developed strong broad-based marketing experience and is now looking for the opportunity to take greater ownership within a growing business.
Sound Insurance already has a strong foundation to work from, including an established customer base and extensive business and management data. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to use these insights to develop more targeted marketing activity, strengthen customer engagement and increase the company's profile.
The Role You will take ownership of both marketing strategy and hands-on delivery, including:
- Developing and implementing an overall marketing strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
- Reviewing existing marketing activity and identifying opportunities to strengthen the company's profile and customer engagement.
- Taking ownership of social media and content strategy, with a particular focus on LinkedIn.
- Planning and delivering targeted social and digital campaigns, including Meta campaigns.
- Developing relevant content including newsletters, blogs, social content and customer communications.
- Segmenting the existing customer base and developing regular, relevant touchpoints for different customer groups.
- Developing campaigns to support existing customer engagement and new business opportunities.
- Improving SEO and the company's visibility across traditional and emerging AI-driven search.
- Using existing customer, business and management data to identify trends and inform marketing activity.
- Working in partnership with Sound Insurance's existing specialist PPC provider to ensure paid search activity supports the wider marketing strategy.
- Working closely with the Managing Director and key stakeholders across the business to understand their objectives and provide marketing support.
- Monitoring marketing performance and using data and insights to continually refine activity.
The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a commercially minded and proactive marketing professional who is comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously.
You will ideally have: - Approximately 5 years' experience within a broad marketing role.
- Experience developing and delivering marketing plans and campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing knowledge across content, social media, email and digital campaigns.
- Experience creating engaging content across multiple channels.
- Good knowledge of SEO and digital search.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing can support wider business objectives.
- Confidence working with data and using insights to inform marketing activity.
- Experience working with external specialist partners and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, creative and self-motivated approach.
- The confidence to bring forward ideas, make recommendations and take ownership of their delivery.
