Talent Choice is partnering with an established Dublin-based organisation to recruit an HR Operations Manager to join its experienced and well-established HR team.

This is an excellent next step for a strong HR Generalist or Senior HR Generalist who has built approximately three years’ broad generalist experience and is now ready to progress into their first HR management role.

Reporting directly to the VP of HR, you will work closely as a trusted right-hand person, supporting the delivery of day-to-day HR operations and key people projects across the organisation.

You will be joining a structured HR function of 5 with established processes, systems and specialist support already in place. This role will suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive and highly capable team.

The role
This is a varied, hands-on HR position combining generalist HR, employee relations, team support, HR operations and project work.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting and guiding members of the HR Operations team
  • Acting as a key point of contact for managers across the organisation
  • Providing practical advice on employee relations, employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including grievances, performance concerns and other workplace issues
  • Coordinating key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
  • Maintaining HR systems, employee data and regular people reports
  • Reviewing HR policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, compliant and fit for purpose
  • Supporting compensation planning, benchmarking, benefits administration and salary reviews
  • Overseeing payroll processes across Ireland and the UK
  • Working closely with the wider HR team on learning and development, compliance and broader people initiatives
  • Supporting projects relating to pay transparency and upcoming EU requirements
  • Identifying practical opportunities to improve HR processes through systems, automation and AI
  • Contributing to both local and wider HR projects
What we’re looking for
This role will suit someone who has developed a solid foundation across generalist HR and is ready to take on greater responsibility within a supportive and well-established function.

You will ideally have:
  • Approximately three or more years’ experience in a broad HR Generalist or Senior HR Generalist role
  • A relevant HR, CIPD or Employment Law qualification
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and employee relations
  • The confidence and judgement to advise and, where appropriate, challenge managers
  • Experience working in a larger or fast-paced organisation
  • Some experience supporting, mentoring or guiding junior HR colleagues
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good HRIS, employee data and reporting capability
  • A strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • A collaborative working style and the ability to build positive relationships across a close-knit team

It is an opportunity to develop your management experience while working closely with an experienced VP of HR who will remain available to provide guidance and support.
