My client, a thriving, medium sized accountancy practice based in Malahide, is currently seeking an
Accounting Technician to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years' practice experience who enjoys working across accounts and wants to develop their career within a supportive and professional practice environment.
Key Responsibilities - Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and SMEs
- Preparation and filing of VAT, Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns
- Assisting with audit assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, providing insights and analysis for clients
- Supporting senior team members with client work and ad hoc queries
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high level of service
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - 1 to 3 years' experience working in an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, Bright Accounts Production and ROS
- ATI qualified or working towards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Hours - Standard hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm
- Flexible working arrangements available
- This role can be worked on a 4 day or 5 day week
